Febelfin is launching a new flyer to help victims of online fraud file a police report, in collaboration with the Local Police and the CAW (Centre for General Walfare). This complements our recent flyer listing all the banks' anti-fraud numbers.

The more information, the better

In addition to contacting your bank's fraud department, it is crucial to report the incident to the police if you become a victim of online fraud. The more information you can share about the fraud, the better and the more likely it is that the fraudsters can be caught. This flyer therefore brings together all the information you need to have at hand, such as the contact details of the online fraudster, an overview of fraudulent transactions, etc. You will also find information on how to report the fraud to the police and where to go for additional support.

Initiatives for digital inclusion and accessible banking

Febelfin is committed to promoting digital inclusion and accessible banking as much as possible. We collaborated with SAAMO to develop this flyer in order to reach an even wider audience with our information. Thanks to this collaboration, the flyer is accessible and readable for all target groups.

We are also committed to continuous awareness-raising, including through e-learning for digital trainers, in which 408 people have already participated, and our information sessions on secure digital banking and payments. Over the past two years, Febelfin has held more than 100 information sessions throughout Belgium, reaching a total of nearly 4,000 people. An overview of all initiatives in this area can be found at www.toegankelijkbankieren.be (only in Dutch/French).

Download and share the flyer

The digital flyer is available on the Febelfin website and will also be distributed to a wide network of partners. Febelfin encourages everyone to distribute the flyer as widely as possible in order to inform as many people as possible.
