Are you very strong in terms of content, passionate about language and can you put a story on paper in no time? Do you want to play an essential role in supporting the MARCOM Team? Then we are looking for you!

 

Job description

 

As a content writer, you proactively look for fascinating ways to clarify and deepen the many interesting themes from the broad financial world. You like to teach people new information and try to do this in a promotional manner, tailored to the target audience. Translations into English flow fluid from your pen.

Tasks

 
  • You can empathize with different target groups (consumers, young people, companies, journalists, members of Febelfin) and find the right tone in your writing assignments (such as press releases, articles, interviews, etc.) for each of them.
  • You provide translations into English and Dutch and help maintain the website.
  • You are fascinated by social media and enjoy creating content tailored to each channel.
  • You represent the sector through various forums with stakeholders and during information sessions about digital and secure banking. So you enjoy giving a physical information session or webinar.
  • You respond quickly and develop special projects on an ad hoc basis that are in line with your experience.

Profile

 
  • You have a degree in communications, languages ​​or journalism or other relevant work experience in these domains.
  • You have experience writing for the web and social media channels. Telling a story doesn't scare you either.
  • You like to follow current affairs and are interested in the press and media.
  • You are quick and enjoy giving information sessions.
  • Your professionalism, proactive approach and organizational skills make you indispensable for smooth operations.
  • You are flexible and willing to support the team where necessary. You are Dutch-speaking or French-speaking. You have a leg up if you also speak the other national language fluently. Knowledge of English is a must.
  • You are a real team player and would like to feel involved in the company where you work.
  • You report to the Director Marketing & Communication.
